Daniel Burke for US Senate Town Hall Meeting
What, to a Creative Mind, is the Fourth of July?
A Youth Town Hall with Burke for Senate
Wednesday, July 8 at 7PM EDT

Dear friends and supporters,
Frederick Douglass said in 1863, "[The world] has its periods of illumination as well as of darkness, and often bounds forward a greater distance in a single year than in any age before. The rosy morning light of a great truth breaks upon the vision of some early riser—and straightway he wakes up the drowsy world with the announcement of the day and the work."
Are you an early riser?
Join me this July 8th for the resumption of the weekly Burke for Senate live Wednesday night broadcast -- this week, as a national youth town hall. We seek a dialogue with students and youth, to discuss, what is that purpose, for which our nation was conceived?
I assume that most of you don't think beheading statues is the key to saving America -- whether the statue falls in a park in D.C. or during a regime change in Baghdad. Nor does the attempted regime change against Donald Trump offer anything but chaos and war. So what failed assumptions are to blame for our decline? And what new ideas are needed?
What are we building? What work before us, this day? Americans need a future -- they need a mission that reflects the universal claims embedded in our Declaration of Independence. Go out, America, to work in concert with other great powers Russia, China, and India, to build up the underdeveloped world, and rescue our own people in the same process.
